From Life Coach to Intimacy Coach

My transition from being a life coach to an intimacy coach was driven by two main factors:

Lack of Client Interest in Life Coaching: I found that few clients were seeking out life coaching services, and the broad scope of "life" made it difficult for potential clients to understand and focus on specific areas of improvement.

Personal Alignment with Intimacy: My personal journey and experiences, particularly navigating a mid-life crisis, led me to a deep exploration of self-intimacy and its importance, which I resonated strongly with and it felt more aligned with my purpose.

While life coaching deals with a broad range of topics, intimacy, in contrast, is something that nearly everyone can relate to, regardless of their current life stage or circumstances. Intimacy is a fundamental aspect of life, starting from infancy and evolving through relationships.

Societal and cultural influences often create confusion and negativity around intimacy, sex, and pleasure. This can leave individuals struggling with these crucial aspects of life.

My personal experience of overcoming a difficult period, including a long-term relationship, led to the realization that the quest for external fulfillment was actually a yearning for deeper self-knowledge and freedom. Through practices like meditation and breathwork, it became clear how to help others connect with themselves and experience true intimacy.

Ultimately, intimacy coaching, beginning with intimacy with self, is where personal growth and transformation start. My journey of self-discovery and the realization that many people struggle with similar issues made intimacy coaching a natural and meaningful shift in my professional focus.
